A South Carolina Preservation Honor Award celebrates successful and exemplary historic preservation projects around the Palmetto State. Any individual, organization, government agency, or business involved in the preservation of historic buildings, structures, or sites (including archaeological sites, cemeteries, and landscapes) in the state are eligible to receive an Honor Award for a historic preservation project.

The Bridge Awards are presented annually by GBS Building Supply and produced by the Home Builders Association of Greenville to recognize excellence in craftsmanship and professionalism in the Home Building industry in the Upstate.

CHRYSALIS AWARD

The Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence began in 1993. The awards cover 30 categories of residential and commercial remodeling, and winners are selected for each of four geographical regions of the country. The regional winners are then judged to select a national winner for each category.
REMODELING BIG 50
BUSINESS PRACTICES
Each year Remodeling Magazine selects 50 remodeling contractors across the nation to receive this award. The award is based on best business practices, not size of the business. Assistant editor for Remodeling Magazine Marisa Mendez described the award process this way "When selecting companies, we are looking for companies who have exceptional customer service practices, great sales processes, an interesting use of technology, fruitful marketing techniques, etc." The selection process is based on interviews and other research.
