BUILDING TRUST BLOG
At Daniel Builders we have a blueprint for Building Trust. We're not the remodeling contractor everyone chooses, but we want to be the remodeling contractor everyone trusts.
If you’ve seen our trucks, you know “Building Trust” is our tagline. Perhaps that sounds like abstract marketing gibberish, but for us it's a very practical pursuit. We're so serious about trust that we've identified five components to building it - Honesty, Communication, Connection, Commitment, and Competence.
In this episode of Ready, Set, Renovate we focus on competence, which is defined as an ability to do something successfully or efficiently. To illustrate consider how much you trust a pizza place that makes wonderful pizza. Probably enough to return the next time you want pizza. As a remodeling contractor the same principle applies. We’ve seen clients return for two, three, even four more remodels.
On this episode you'll hear from Sean Harvey (Build Director) and Sam Parkinson (Project Manager). Both started with Daniel Builders as carpenters and came up through the ranks. They reached their current roles in large part by being competent carpenters.
How did they develop this competence? As you’ll hear Sean and Sam took different paths. One took a traditional approach, while the other learned much under the tutelage of YouTube. It’s a content rich conversation on carpentry competence.
